Milk technique

SAC strives to provide in the best solutions in the field of milking cows. Various high-quality products are needed to be able to milk a cow properly.

Low-lying milk lines

SAC has developed a unique technology for low-lying milk lines. The light UniFlow ensures fewer vacuum fluctuations under the teat (animal welfare) and a smooth milk flow. The unique electronically controlled IDC milking and remover unit combines everything you need per milking stand. The UniMilco ensures accurate data management and extensive insight into the milking process. Together with the receiver and the milk pump, a safe process is created from cow to cooling tank.

High-lying milk lines

A swing-over means that the milk lines are always higher than the cow itself. The swing-over arm provides a perfect connection from the UniFlow to the clusters. Milking starts automatically when swing-over arm with the cluster shifts to the other side of the milking parlour to milk a cow. With a swing over system, milking takes place in a certain flow. While the cows are being milked in one side, it is possible to change the cows or take care of the udders at the same time on the other hand.

Individual attention of cows and welfare in the parlour

The amount of space per cow differs per type of milking parlour. The angle of the cows gives different length and width of the parlour type. This ensures a shorter walking distance at the 90 degrees parlour. Thanks to the positioning gates in a side-by-side milking parlour, the cow has her own space, which is more comfortable for the cow and leads to more peace in the stable. The fast-exit in the side-by-side milking parlour ensures that the cows can be exchanged quickly, and the short distances make milking faster.

 Ironwork type

The choice of the cow's positioning in the milking parlour determines the type of parlour and thus also the type of ironwork that goes with it. The choice is between a herringbone 60 or a side-by-side 90 degrees parlour. To get cows back to the barn faster after milking, there is the option of a Fast-Exit or Rapid-Exit. Furthermore, you decide, how you want to milk your cows from the side or behind.

It is possible to place the milk receiver outside the pit, for example in a basement installation, in front of or next to the pit. In combination with the UniMilco, full control is possible. SAC products always comply with the international ISO standard for milking.

Fast- and Rapid-Exit

To ensure that the cows leave the milking parlour quickly after milking, the side-by-side parlour can be equipped with a Fast- or Rapid-Exit.

Fast-Exit

In a side-by-side parlour at 90 degrees with Fast-Exit the front ironwork tilts the positioning gates up, so that the cows can walk across the entire stall width to the end of the parlour and find their place in the stable.

Rapid-Exit

In a side-by-side 90 degrees parlour with Rapid-Exit the entire front ironwork moves up or turns 180 degrees, so that the cows can walk forward freely to the exit. The Rapid-Exit ensures a quick exchange of cows. In addition, a system with Rapid-Exit requires more square meters of space due to the exit. The labour savings of the rapid milking compared to the extra labour needed for cleaning the milking parlour.
