The plate cooler reduces the milk temperature to the temperature of the (ground) water extremely efficiently. This saves a lot of energy when cooling the milk. A water valve ensures that the water only flows through the plate cooler when the milk pump is switched on. A suitable plate cooler is available for every type of milk pump.
Advantages of a plate cooler
A plate cooler for spring water or a combination of tap water and ice water is also an option. The rinsing system the UniWash3+ automatically cleans the plate cooler.

Water heating with plate cooler
Water heating with plate cooler is a solution suitable for larger parlours that can increase cleaning efficiency and reduce the use of chemicals. Here, the plate cooler is used to reheat the cleaning water during the rinsing cycle. In large barns, the full potential of the system is best achieved through section cleaning of the milk line. An external heat source should also be available to heat the water for the cleaning process.
