Pit edge
The sloping raised edge acts as protection for the cow, preventing her from stepping into the pit. In addition, the pit edge protects the milking equipment and keeps it clean for longer. The pit edge has no sharp edges, making it safe for both milker and cow. The pit edge is available in stainless steel (RVS) or galvanised steel with a blue plastic rim.
