Bedding of stables
The daily task of cleaning and bedding your dairy cattle stables is important but also labor-intensive. The Flypit is a bedding robot that can take over this task. The robot hangs on a rail system that runs above all your stables, spreading bedding efficiently. It can bed both cubicles and loose-housing areas, designed to minimize dust dispersal. Additionally, you have the option to add a dust extraction system to the Flypit for further reduction of dust.
The robot can spread not only straw but also separated manure, fermentation residues, wood chips, and many other types of bedding material.
Energy consumption and dosing
The Flypit has maintenance-free batteries. The robot is equipped with 2 x 105 Ah batteries. The rail system requires a voltage of 230 volts and can spread approximately 3 tons of straw per day.
The only manual task is filling the FlyPit storage with bedding. The storage can be filled with round or square bales. The bales pass through the patented cutting system and straw soaper of the Flypit and are automatically cut and spread. It is possible to dose the amount of bedding per group of animals.
The robot is connected to your Wi-Fi network. This allows you to access the robot's data via PC, tablet, or smartphone. The Flypit is also equipped with a 10-inch touchscreen for viewing data when you are in the stable.
